This book was very well done. The plot was interesting, the characters were 3-dimensional, and the writing was amazing. While I believe the idea of splitting up into factions seems a little silly, I think Roth made it work, as far as willing suspension of disbelief goes. My only complaint was that by the end I kind of lost interest because the whole book just seemed to jump from one problem to the next, and while all of the plot points were cleverly connected, they felt overwhelming as through there was just too much going on for one book.
But on the whole, a great read, especially for those who enjoy YA fiction series such as The Hunger Games.
